• With help from our partner facilities, we set up a relaxing and tranquil private massage room within those partner facilities. Residents can schedule their massages either by contacting us directly or through the Activities Director at the facility. You decide which arrangement makes the most sense for your property!
• We sit down with each person to help him or her complete and "in-take" form and we discuss their specific conditions. At that point we determine if the resident is (1) Robust, in which case we generally recommend a traditional one-hour massage; (2) has Age-appropriate Conditions that might suggest a 45-minute massage, with the client being put in the prone position for no longer than 15 minutes; or (3) Fragile, in which case the massage is limited to 30 minutes and the client is rarely put into the prone position. Many times we massage our most fragile friends in their own wheelchairs or beds.
• We focus on increasing circulation, softening hardened muscle and tissue, stimulating the nervous system and relaxing the mind. We do not discriminate on ANY basis. Many of our clients are robust and healthy, yet some are quadriplegic and paraplegic. Some suffer from phantom limb syndrome.
• We offer special discounted rates and we accept payment by cash, check or credit card. We also give each resident a 50% off coupon celebrating his or her birthday.
• We work in some of our partner properties once a week and in some once a month. We will work with you to determine the demand for such a program at your facility.
